About me
The Webster Dictionary defines "nexus" as a link between two or more things. I consider myself the nexus between the IT world and the medical world. I began my career in healthcare as a Pharmacy Technician, where I worked for 12 years. During those years, I gained varied experience across retail, hospice, hospitals, compounding, and oncology settings. My background in oncology led me to be recruited to support an oncology software system for Document Storage Systems (DSS).
I have since continued my career in IT up to the present day. With over 8 years of diverse experience, my roles have included Tier 1 & 2 Help Desk support, serving as a subject matter expert (SME) for proprietary healthcare hardware and software, technical support specialist, and software installation—both remote and onsite. From small companies like DSS to a Fortune 500 company, Omnicell, I have developed a wide-ranging background.
